Summer Space Comes to Montague Street

Chess experts and beginners alike enjoyed playing the game of kings during Sunday’s popular Summer Space event on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights. The Brooklyn Daily Eagle sponsored the chess games and brought chess master/ impresario Christian Whitted (not seen here) and his “Big Chess” game board to the carefree and car-free day of fun, staged by the Montague Street Business Improvement District. The Martha Cardona Theater offered opera, and the Brooklyn Heights Association sponsored the perennial favorite, the Brooklyn Heights Dog Show.
